Sustainable Denim Washing by Process Optimization

Now-a-days sustainability is a crucial issue in denim washing. This research initiative performed aiming to resolve the crisis of washing by process optimization technique which highlights reduction water, chemical and time as well costing garments. In this work, administered reducing several wash & application baths into single bath confirming without alteration physical properties color fastness fabric. For confirmation fastness, tests are carried out like tensile tear strength, rubbing, wash, perspiration CMC (Carboxy Methyl Cellulose) value for both conventional sustainable method. BOD, COD pH waste water determined shows better result method also. Reduction rinsing results less consumption 475 19% also saves $0.34/ dozen garments validate cost effectiveness
